Stale list

Internet Marketing

Hey,

I recently got an email from a reader of mine named Chris that was asking me how to email his list after not mailing them for awhile.
This is a common mistake and a costly one.

When people join your list, they’re saying they like what you have to offer and if you have more that’s similar, they’d like to hear about it.

Many times this can lead to having a buying customer for life.

My advice is to stay in touch with your readers on a daily basis, but if you’re list has gone stale, start with the “I’m sorry email…”.

Here’s an outline you can use.

Subject:
I’m sorry… (personal)

Body:
Hi,

I wanted to send you a quick note and apologize for not staying in touch with you for awhile. I recently realized that I was not doing the best thing for you by staying out of touch when I have so many great things to help you in your business.

I apologize for that.

Sincerely,
Chris.
PS. Keep your eyes open for an email from me tomorrow about how you can put your own videos online for free! it’s gonna be great.

The next email could be my How To Put Videos Online. It converts very well and is a great series for anyone getting started.

Can you tell me why I think this type of email is necessary in this situation? Have you had a similar experience?

Talk soon.
Mike.
