magic ecoverHey,

Magic Ecover was a huge success with a ton of great reviews and feedback.  I added a full video course to the product that includes advanced graphic techniques using paid software (not photoshop!) where you’ll be able to create absolutely killer graphics including headlines, ebooks, dvds, etc.

The graphic software I will be using is called Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 6, which you can get for $89 at www.xarasoftware.com.

Once I finish the advanced graphics video series, the price for Magic Ecover will increase significantly, but existing customers of Magic Ecover will get access to the new series for free, so you may want to grab a copy now.

If you decide your not happy with the software or the video series, you’re still covered by my “no questions asked, 30 day guarantee”, so there’s no risk, but I’m sure you’re gonna love it.

Click HERE now to grab your copy.

Talk to you soon.

    Hi Mike,

I really like the product. Do your existing customers that just bought at the lower price, get the upgrade? or do we need to repurchase? Thanks

  2. Vivek Gusain - pc tecnology Says:

    hi mike,
    Its vivek here.
I was lucky enough to get in on the $7 price. Its really cool and works great. I liked your video where you explain everything in detail on how to install and to use it, would be even great if you can add some more icons. Also one question, this software is great for making single ecovers, but suppose if i want to have a 7-10 ecovers stacked all together, for the purpose of a video course showing that there are 7-10 videos, then how can we do that, can that be done through the paid software that you mentioned or should i outsource?
    cheers!

  3. Tommy Williams Says:

If we have already ordered the magic ecover software will we still get the video I will to have it I just bought Xara Graphic Software

  4. Robin Lee Says:

    Hi Mike,
I purchased this as part of the Money Magnet Toolkit from Will Mino. Can I get the training videos too?
    Thank you,
    Robin

  5. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Art,

No need to repurchase anything. Anyone that bought up until the video series goes live gets the upgrade for free. :)

Aaaaaaand…. the video series is gonna be live soon.

    Hi Vivek,

It’s all covered in the video series coming out soon. You’re gonna love it. :)

  7. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hey Dan,

Thanks for the kudos for the webinar. Daniel definitely knocked that one out of the park. :D

You can use Magic Ecover to put your own images on the ebook if you combine it with Xara, (paid vector graphics software from http://www.xarasoftware.com) like I show in the Advanced Graphics video series coming out soon.

Btw, I’d like to think that you could make much better images than the ones you posted. ;)

    Talk soon.
    Mike.

  8. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Tommy,

Yep, you’ll get the full video series at no additional cost. :)

    Mike.

  9. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Robin,

The Money Magnet Toolkit isn’t my product, so you’d need to purchase Magic Ecover from me in order to get the video series upgrade for free. It’ll be very worth it though! :)

    Talk to you soon.

  10. Ian McLaren Says:

    Hi Mike,

I love the “Magic Ecover Software”.

Can the “advanced graphic techniques” be used with Gimp or will I need Xara?

    Many thanks

    Ian McLaren

  11. Christine Says:

    Hi Mike
Just purchased… I had something like this product a year or so ago, but it has stopped working… I went through your current videos, etc., and am looking forward to the next ones.

I assume we can upload our own images for the covers… correct?

    Thanks!
    Christine

  12. Eric Sterling Says:

    Hi Mike,

I’ve bought several of your products and know that you do recommend Xara. However, for this advance graphics/ME course you’re mentioning in this post, could someone follow along even roughly using GIMP instead of Xara?

    Eric

  13. D Smith Says:

I just want to say that I have been using Xara ever since it came out and that it is a truly wonderful graphics application. It has a massively long pedigree, and it is amazing to me that so few have heard of it. I am delighted you are doing a video series on it. I am pretty sure I am going to learn something new too. Thanks Mike.

  14. Kathy Says:

    Hi Mike,

I sent you an email a couple of days ago when you were asking for feedback. I love the program – it is simple to use yet very effective.

My query was can we could add our own graphics to those already included – the coins, house, safe etc. Is this what this Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 6 program will do? I don’t have $89 to pay for it but I do have a hard drive full of graphics that I would like to use.

Adding my own graphics will be the icing on the cake.

    Thanks,

    Kathy

  15. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Ian,

The tutorial videos are using Xara, which I recommend, but you could try to figure out the techniques with Gimp or Photoshop if you’d like, but I think you’d probably be frustrated since each graphic program has different tools and different names.

Xara is a great piece of software that I’ve been using for years, though. :)

    Hope that helps.
    Mike.

  16. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Christine,

Thanks for your business. I appreciate it. You can definitely upload your own images, which I suggest for the most custom look. :)

    Talk to you soon.

  17. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Eric,

If you’re very familiar with Gimp or Photoshop, then yes, you can follow along, but in the videos I use shortcuts and tricks that may be unique to Xara. I would take a look before buying anything and see if your level of experience with Gimp is high enough to do the stuff I show. It it is, then you just saved yourself $89! ;)

    Talk soon.
    Mike.

  18. Mike Cowles Says:

Awesome! You’re one of the few that has heard of Xara.

My brother first turned me on to it and there’s actually a big following of people that use it, but in the IM world everyone seems to only know about Photoshop and Gimp. To me this is a fantastic alternative.

    Talk soon.
    Mike.

  19. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Kathy,

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. :)

As far as adding graphics, like the coins or house, Magic Ecover won’t allow that without getting into altering the code, which would involve a lot of programming, but you can create an image with Xara, like I show in the videos that has any image you want on it and upload it to Magic Ecover to look exactly the way you’d like.

    Take care.
    Mike.

  20. Eric Sterling Says:

    Hi Mike,
My knowledge of GIMP is pretty basic, but that’s actually my plan, I guess I’ll see what magic gets worked in Xara and see if I can figure it out on my own.

  21. Andre Arnett Says:

Really liked the product but I snoozed and lost out at the earlier prices. Could have used the product.

  22. Mike Cowles Says:

Sounds like a plan, Eric. Lemme know how it turns out for you.

    Talk to you soon.

    Mike. <

  23. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hey Andre,

Sorry to hear that. It’s still a great deal and I’ve added a lot more value to more than justify the price increase. :)

    Talk soon.
    Mike.

  24. Christie Says:

    Hey Mike,

Your blog advertises the price at $9.95, but when you go to the sales page the price jumps to $19.95.

How much does it cost to buy today?

  25. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Christie,

Thanks for the heads up. I increased the price to $19.95 after adding the full Advanced Graphics video series and a few bonuses.

    Talk to you soon.

  26. George Says:

Is there supposed to be a certain size of the images to upload to the software? Went to use it today and got an error message saying an upload form was needed.

  27. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi George,

The script will stretch the size of the image to fit the template. Without being in front of your computer, I honestly can’t tell you why you’re getting that error. You may want to try it out on another computer to see if it’s from your settings (like your anti-virus or firewall).

    Hope that helps.

  28. David Scott Lynn Says:

Hi Mike! This looks GREAT! But I bet it does not work with Macs, right?

I have friends with PCs. Any issues with downloading your product to their machines, creating the e-covers, and loading it to my Mac?

Found out about you at Peter Max’s website, BTW.

    Thanks,
    David Scott Lynn

  29. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hey David,

Thanks for the kudos. It does work with Macs since it’s a web app vs a desktop app.

    Talk to you soon.

    Mike.

  30. David Scott Lynn Says:

    Oh Great! Thanks MIke.

And I appreciate your fast response!

    Take Care,
    David

  31. Mike Cowles Says:

    No problem. Enjoy! :)

    Mike.

  32. Marc Myles Says:

    Hi Mike,
I’ve just purchased your Magic e-cover software and I felt compelled to write. It’s a brilliant product at a great price. I’d been looking for a product like this for a long time and happened to stumble across it by chance. I’m so excited about using it more.
I’m also really impressed by you, Mike – you seem so genuine and really wanting to help others. Well done to you. I’m just wondering whether I ought to purchase the Xara software too?
    Marc

  33. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Marc,

Thanks for the kind words and support. I appreciate it. :)

Xara is a lot of fun, but don’t pay the full $89 on their site. The older version Xara Xtreme 5 is only about $30 on ebay and works great. It’s not critical to have it, but it is a lot of fun and you have the freedom to get graphics done very fast for free once you’ve played with it a bit.

    Talk to you soon.

    Mike.

  34. Rudy Christoph Says:

    Hi Mike,

Seems a cool product, but I don’t understand if I need the xarasoftware to run this product on or that this product is a stand alone program? Cause if I need to purchase the xarasoftware the product is all at once much more expensive then I thought? I came across a similar product called ‘Marketing Graphics Toolkit’ which uses the free online Sumo Paint editor (or the off-line €30 paid version) which totals much cheaper but isn’t as nice.

    Thanks
    Rudy

  35. Joel Says:

    Hi Mike,

Are we able to export the pre-compiled cover we made with your software to a .jpg or .png file before adding the 3D effect. The reason I’m asking is that I do have PhotoShop with action scripts that apply a myriad of different e-cover effects. I’m currently creating my flat cover with PhotoShop and running the scripts which work great… but creating the flat cover by hand takes a while.

    Thanks,
    Joel

  36. Mike Cowles Says:

You don’t need Xara. That software or gimp or photoshop, just gives you more flexibility for custom artwork.

    Talk to you soon.

    Mike.

  37. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Joel,

You probably could just save the flat image after viewing it, but due to the size, I wouldn’t recommend it. You’re gonna end up with a low rez, fuzzy image.

    Hope that helps.
    Mike.

  38. Tom Says:

    Hi Mike,

I am not sure where to install this? First, do I have to have a web sight? Do I install this on my home or in my root for the domain? I tried both places and I can see the zip file uploaded but after extracting, I get a php file but not a me file. Then to use the program, how do I find it.

As you can see I am pretty new to all this. Thanks

  39. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Tom,

You’ll need a domain, but not necessarily a website. If you watch the tutorial videos, I’ll walk you through the exact steps. If you need help, my programmer can install it for you for under $15. Just let me know at my help desk (http://www.mysupportdesk.biz) if that’s what you decide. :)

If you need anything else, please let me know.

    Talk to you soon.
    Mike.

  40. Tom Says:

I will try again, thanks. I was just wondering if it is possible to make a header with this program?

  41. Mike Cowles Says:

    Hi Tom,

No, it’s just for the ecover design’s you see. However, I create headers with Xara Xtreme using the same techniques in the video series you have with Magic Ecover. :)

    Hope that helps.
    Mike.
